[On Neil Peart: No Rush]

A month ago, I reported that Drumhead magazine had an interview with Matt Scannell in this month's issue where he discusses his friendship with Neil Peart. If you don't know who Matt is, he's one of the founders of the pop band Vertical Horizon and a good friend of Neil Peart. Peart talks about their friendship extensively in his two most recent books Roadshow and Travelling Music. The full interview is now online at this link. Matt talks extensively about his collaboration with Neil last summer, which is detailed in this post. Neil wrote lyrics for one song called Even Now and recorded the drum tracks on 3 songs. There's still no information on when these songs will see the light of day. It's a great interview and certainly worth the read.
