[Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage]

Last Thursday I reported that the Rush documentary would be premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. This information was just confirmed this morning when the Tribeca website posted its complete list of films for this year's festival. The Rush documentary now has an official title; Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage. It is included as one of the 14 films featured in the TFF '10 Encounters section and has a running time of 106 minutes. Here's the description from the Tribeca Film Festival website:

For fans and newcomers to the legendary Canadian band Rush, this is the music documentary to experience. Directors Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn embark on a comprehensive exploration of this extraordinary power trio, from their early days in Toronto, through each of their landmark albums, to the present day. Sit back and revel in the words, music, and wonder of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart.

The full schedule with show times won't be released until sometime next week, but from what I've heard the premier red carpet event will occur on Saturday, April 24th and all 3 members of Rush will be on hand.
