Not to be outdone by his bandmates' recent Readers' Choice Awards at both Guitar Player and Bass Player magazines, Neil Peart has won awards in 2 categories in the 2008 Modern Drummer Readers' Poll. Although the results are not official yet, several websites (BigDrumThump.com, Alfred.com, AndrewOlson.com) recently reported that Neil Peart won the top spot in both the Rock Drummer and Recorded Performance (Snakes & Arrows) categories. He also got 5th place in the Progressive Rock Drummer category. The complete official results will be published in the July 2008 issue of Modern Drummer magazine, due to hit newsstands May 30th.
