Last Tuesday internet music site HITS Daily Double reported that, based on 1-day sales estimates, Rush's Snakes & Arrows would debut at #3 on their album chart. They were close. It actually came in at #4 as they reported earlier today. They had underestimated the power of fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne; she was bumped from #1 last week to land at #3 this week - just a hair ahead of Rush. It'll be interesting to see if the Billboard chart (released later this week I think) reflects similar results.
