Canadian nationalism is on the rise in the Great White North due to souring relations with the US (threats of annexation and starting a trade war will do that), and you don't get much more Canadian than Molson beer! Molson has released a new commercial celebrating Canadian pride, and they use Rush's Closer to the Heart as the backing music as seen here. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have also been celebrating their own Canadian heritage in some recent Instagram posts as well. In this post from Rush's official Instagram announcing a new Fly by Night Pale Ale beer, both Geddy and Alex are sporting Elbows Up Canada hats (a hockey reference meaning you are ready to fight). And Alex posted a separate photo of himself with the hat on and saying, "ELBOWS UP MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!". Thanks to Paul N for the heads up.
