Q104.3 has posted another new interview with Alex Lifeson (not to be confused with this one from a couple weeks ago) where he chats about his Envy of None project's new Stygian Wavz album, Rush 50, the Beatles, and more. Stygian Wavz released just this past Friday, and Rush 50 back on March 21st. Here's Alex discussing meeting Paul McCartney:
... I had the pleasure of meeting Paul McCartney when we were in London doing the Taylor Hawkins benefit and we were enjoying a drink with the Foo Fighters after the show. And I'm standing there and I'm thinking "Oh my god, it's Paul McCartney and I'm having a drink with him. We're talking and I'm making him laugh, joking around. And he said to me, "I don't really know much about your band. I know the name but I don't really know the material. You're quite good. Are you touring?" And Geddy said "No we're not. Our drummer passed and we haven't been touring and and Alex is not really interested anymore". And he said "Oh no you should definitely be touring." And I said "Oh in that case how about if you manage us?" And he laughed and he said "Oh all right you've got a deal. I'll do it." ...
