World-renowned Grammy winning guitarist and composer Pat Metheny performed a show at Toronto's Massey Hall last night and Rush's Alex Lifeson was in attendance. Lifeson posted a photo to Instagram of himself with Metheny backstage after the show with the following caption:
A brilliant guitarist and a guy in a black coat.
Had the pleasure of catching Pat's show at Massey Hall last night. It was two hours of bliss as he wove through his deep musical history. I've admired his playing for over 40 years and to finally meet this beautiful, passionate soul was uplifting.
