Back in 2019, Envy of None vocalist Maiah Wynne released her Fearless Girl single featuring Alex Lifeson on guitars. The collaboration would prove to be a precursor to their Envy of None project with Andy Curran and guitarist Alfio Annibalini, who are currently working on the follow-up to the project's 2022 self-titled debut. But in the meantime, Wynne has released her own solo album, Out of the Dark, which includes the aforementioned Fearless Girl track along with several others that Lifeson appears on. Alex appears on five of the 11 tracks on the album, including Come On, All Too Much, What a Shame, Fearless Girl [album version] and Old Strings [Maiah's version].
