Geddy Lee to appear on VH1 Classic's On Tap radio program tonight

UPDATE - 2/19@8:55AM: Eddie Trunk posted a recap to his blog about Geddy's That Metal Show taping earlier this week (thanks Thomas P):

... I did ask Ged if this is the last tour, future plans and even talked some baseball. We also show a new release of 2112 and find out what his favorite and least favorite Rush albums are! Had a blast! Can't thanks Geddy enough for returning to the show and being such a great guest. The Rush guys all have a great sense of humor as well and know what it means to be fans and have always been so cool with me. Honored to have their support. Geddy flew to NYC just to do TMS which is so awesome! ... And was so cool to have Petrucci on who was a kid in a candy store around Geddy. ...

Geddy Lee will be the special guest on the season 14 debut episode of VH1 Classic's That Metal Show this coming Saturday, February 21st at 9PM. He'll also be the featured guest on the series premiere of VH1 Classic's Rock Icons immediately following the debut episode of That Metal Show. Geddy will be calling in to the syndicated radio show On Tap presented by VH1 Classic tonight to talk about his appearance on both shows. To find out when/where to listen, just visit the On Tap website. The season premiere episode of That Metal Show was taped yesterday according to this photo that host Eddie Trunk posted yesterday picturing him with Geddy at the taping. Trunk was also interviewed by Glide magazine earlier this week to talk about the show and had this to say:

... It's going to be pretty wide-ranging and we start with our debut with Geddy Lee from Rush and I'm really excited about that. ... I don't know how many people realize that Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson from Rush were both on our show in the very first season. ... I'm really excited that we're going to get him back to not only kick off our season but again that's a band that kind of has said they're going to be scaling back how much they play so it's certainly a great time to grab them. ... I think without question the biggest thing that Rush fans want to know is, is this the end. I think that there's a lot of people and a lot of discussion and rumors out there about Rush ending and this being somewhat of a farewell tour; maybe not using that terminology but them pretty much winding down and this being the last real tour. They've alluded to that. They've told me in the past that they probably would never really do a quote-unquote farewell tour and bill it as such. They'd probably just kind of drift away kind of quietly and I think that's what's happening and that's kind of what they've led people to believe. So I think the number one question that anybody wants to know is, are we pretty much seeing the last Rush tour and what their thoughts are about their future given their age and how long they've been doing it. That's definitely going to be a big point of discussion I think.

Last week Rush posted a 30-second, VH1 Classic promo spot for both premieres to their Facebook page. The commercial features a few shots of Geddy Lee, including a short interview snippet from Rock Icons, and you can watch the whole thing at this location. There's also a 30-second teaser trailer for Rock Icons that includes a few shots of Geddy, and you can listen to Sam Dunn of Banger Films discuss the series in this VH1 interview.
