UPDATE - 3/24@3:56PM: I just realized that all 5 parts of the interview are in the issue! I'd been confused because they initially mentioned that only part one was contained in this issue: ...The launch issue of iDrum features part one of an exclusive in-depth 40-minute video interview.... Anyways, just flip through to the next 3 pages in the issue and you'll see the other 4 parts to the interview. In total, all 5 parts add up to around 55 minutes of interview time! They are also running a contest for a cool Neil Peart package where all you need to do is sign up for their FREE subscription:

Lick Library just launched a very cool and unique new interactive online drumming magazine called iDrum. Neil Peart graces the cover of their debut issue which also contains part 1 of an in-depth interview with Pratt. In this 8-minute portion of the 55-minute interview Neil talks a lot about his motorcycling adventures on the last tour, specifically his travels in South America. From the magazine:
Two Wheels Good
Honoured by the AMA (American Motorcycle Association) making him a motorcycle ambassador, is something that Neil is clearly very proud of, particularly as it was an unexpected honour from a field outside of music. His desire to combine adventure travel and business travel is renowned and the fact that Neil then transmits those adventures into books, interviews and of course into the musical world of Rush cannot be underestimated. Enjoy this fascinating and completely absorbing insight into the world of Neil Peart.
Rhythmic Ideas
Neil recalls sitting in a restaurant in Brazil hearing a beautiful hybrid rhythm that mixed Brazilian and West African music and the profound effect it was to have upon him. All this, plus his live of discovering musical and cultural influences whilst traveling, makes for a fascinating insight.
