Early last month we learned that the Rush documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage was nominated for a Juno Award (the Canadian equivalent of the US Grammy Awards) for Music DVD of the Year. Winners will be announced at the Juno Awards Ceremony at the Air Canada Centre on March 27th which will air on CTV. More details regarding the ceremony were released this morning including the news that both Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee will be in attendance:

... Helping to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the JUNO Awards are iconic Canadian musicians Bryan Adams, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Daniel Lanois, Robbie Robertson, and Rush's Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee. They will be joined by Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, deadmau5, the Honourable James Moore, K'Naan, Shad, Tokyo Police Club and the hosts of CTV's first JUNO broadcast in 2002, Barenaked Ladies. ...

Rush won a Juno award in this same category for Rush in Rio back in 2004. The documentary had also been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Long Form Music Video category but ended up losing to The Doors documentary. Thanks to Eric at Power Windows for the heads up.
