UPDATE - 11/18@9:56AM: Ireland's Radio Nova announced this morning that Rush will be coming to Ireland for the first time ever next year - likely at the Odyssey Arena Belfast. Apparently they'll even be making an official announcement on the air at 9AM tomorrow. Thanks to Joe M for the heads up.
There seems to be consensus that Rush will be playing a show at MSG early next year, but the timing of it is still in question. Terrie Carr says late February, ReGorLaTroy says late March and Deadwing2112 says April. I still tend to think February is too early so I'm guessing late March or April.
Other cities that I hear being bandied around for dates in April are Cleveland, OH and Hershey, PA.

Wow. Looks like Rush fans might be getting a 2011 tour announcement for Christmas! And I guess the rumors I'd been hearing of a late February tour kickoff weren't all that off-base.

On Monday Finnish television channel SuomiTV reported that Rush will play the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland sometime in early May - likely May 3rd or 4th. There's also been a lot of buzz this past week about Rush playing Madison Square Garden in New York City early next year. Over the weekend New York DJ Eddie Trunk reported the following:
... I hear Rush will play MSG soon. Can't wait as I missed the last Summer tour. ...
Since then I'd heard from another source that Rush will indeed play 2 shows at MSG sometime in late March. Then just today reader jeffb2112 let me know that DJ Terrie Carr of New Jersey's WDHA reported on the air that Rush would be playing MSG in February or March. I've also heard a rumor that Rush is looking to play a show in Hamilton, ON in June, and our resident tour oracle Deadwing2112 mentioned in the comments that Rush will be playing North American dates both before and after they hit Europe. So a picture of what Rush's 2011 tour will look like is slowly starting to form; some North American dates in March/April (possibly as early as February), Europe in April/May, then back to North America in May/June. It's still early though, so things could still change. In any case, it definitely looks like Rush will be hitting the road in the first half of 2011!
