UPDATE - 9/1@9:16PM: Here's what the official Suck website has to say about Alex under the Cast section. They also have a nice headshot of Lerxst from the film (thanks RushFanForever):
ALEX LIFESON plays the BORDER GUARD who gives The Winners a hard time at the border until he discovers that like himself, they are musicians. Lifeson is best known as the broadly-skilled guitarist for the rock group Rush, which he founded in 1968. The most successful Canadian music group in history, Rush is the third most prolific seller of consecutive American Gold and Platinum Records and videos, behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Back in December we learned that Alex Lifeson would be making an appearance in a Canadian vampire horror/comedy film from writer/director Rob Stefaniuk called Suck. In March we found out some more details about the film including the fact that Alex would be playing a border officer for his cameo. Lerxst briefly touched on this in his recent Prog interview:
.. "There's been more acting. I did a small part in a movie called Suck, it's a vampire film, Moby, Alice Cooper, Henry Rollins and Iggy Pop are in there too, it's a Canadian director and it looks great, I play a border guard," he says, warming to the subject. ...
The first trailer for the film is out and Alex makes a brief appearance. You can watch it below or at this YouTube link. He comes in at about the 1:15 mark.
Suck was shot entirely in Toronto and also stars Malcolm McDowell, Dave Foley, Henry Rollins, Iggy Pop, Moby, Carol Pope, Jessica Pare, Alice Cooper and his daughter Calico, and Dimitri Coates. The film is slated for theatrical release sometime in October. Alex will also be making an appearance in the upcoming Trailer Park Boys movie Countdown to Liquor Day due out September 25th. He'll be playing a cross-dressing cop as he also discussed in his Prog interview. You may remember that Alex played a cop in the original Trailer Park Boys movie a few years back. Thanks to RushFanForever for the heads up regarding the trailer.
