UPDATE - 1/10@5:33PM: I've put up a new post. Please check the new post for further updates.
UPDATE - 1/10@8:53AM: Foro Sol in Mexico City is IN. So Mexico seems to have nailed 2 shows this go-around. Also I'm sad to say that Fairbanks, Alaska is off the list. They are trying to see if they can get another venue up there but it's looking unlikely. Official dates should be up on Rush.com next week.
UPDATE - 1/10@8:34AM: Quick update... SPAC in Saratoga Springs is out.
UPDATE - 1/7@5:21PM: A couple folks pointed out that it doesn't make sense that they'd play the May 1st Chile date the day immediately following the Mexico date. They're right - that info is outdated. I'm now hearing that the South American dates are more likely to take place sometime in April after the Puerto Rico show. So I'm moving those 2 dates back into the regular venues list without dates for the time being.
My old post with my original list of venues and dates for the 2008 leg of the Snakes & Arrows tour is getting a bit convoluted with updates. So I thought it was high time I put up an updated post, reorganize things a little and highlight some of the more recent updates.
In the past week we learned that Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids is off the list to be replaced by Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. This show is now set to take place on June 10th. We also learned that the band has put a hold on the Idaho Center in Boise, Idaho. In addition, a date has been set for the Monterrey, Mexico show for April 30. I've also been assured that the South American dates will happen, so there's nothing to worry about on that front. I'm unsure why those Chilean papers reported that the dates were in question.
So here's the list so far. I've broken out all the venues for which I have dates, and also the venues that are pending. However, at this point pretty much every date/venue should be considered pending until we get the official tour date announcement from the band. I'll keep updating this post as I find out more.
