New HD TV documentary will focus on Rush road crew

UPDATE - 12/19@6:31PM: Reader Neil C emailed WhistleStop to get some more information on the documentary. I guess that Anthem is working on putting the series together in some kind of box set for fans to purchase. They also stated that it would appear on VOOM HD in the US which contradicts my info regarding it being shown on RAVE HD. Maybe it'll be on both networks?

WhistleStop Productions is currently putting the final touches on a 5 part documentary series shot this past summer during the Canadian leg of the Snakes and Arrows tour. The series is called Backstage Secrets and was shot in High Definition and 5.1 surround audio with the full permission of the band. Each one-hour episode follows various members of the Rush road crew during a typical day out on the road with the band. Backstage Secrets will air in February on RUSH HD in Canada - available in HD via satellite on Bell ExpressVu. It will air in the US on RAVE HD. The series features Rush Lighting Director Howard Ungerleider; sound guys Brad Madix and Brent Carpenter; instrument technicians Lorne Weaton, Bobby Huck, Tony Geranios and Russ Ryan; video guys David Davidian and Bob Larkin; and production manager Craig Blazier. Many thanks to David at WhistleStop Productions for sharing this information.
