Hi all. It's Mark (formerly Mark from Denver.) I will be flying into LAX around noon on the 18th. Does anyone want to share a cab to the venue?

reply honey and soonet, no time eh. figures.

His first record was "The Fat man", recorded in 1949 and became a R & B hit in 1950 and a gold record in 1953. His cooperation with the bandleader Dave Bartholomew resulted in an almost endless chain of R & B and Top 100 hit records. He also played the piano on Lloyd Price's millionseller "Lawdy miss clawdy." Fats performed in 4 Rock & Roll movies, "The girl can't help it, "Shake rattle and rock", "Jamboree" and "The Big beat." This ended in 1963 with "Red sails in the sunset," by than Fats recorded for ABC-Paramount and the cooperation with Dave had ended. In the period 1949-1960 he had 23 million sellers, not less than 17 were co-written with Dave Bartholomew.

In 1955, with the arrival of Rock & Roll, Fats became also popular with the white audience starting with "Ain't that a shame." Lew Chudd, the owner of Imperial Records sold his record company to LIBERTY in 1963. At that time success faded a little and Fats signed a contract with ABC-Paramount, were he had a couple of hits. Later, in 1965, he had a very good live album on MERCURY and a couple of albums on REPRISE and SONET.

The seating chart is incorrect. In the past they have had 3 rows of pit seats. Does anyone know if this will be the case again?

Started trying at 10:00 on the dot and NOTHING has come up since then. So frustrating. I even tried lesser quantities and got nothing. I guess Friday it is...

I missed the pre-sale yesterday. Does anyone know if the sales that start today (2/20) will have seats in the front sections?

Well so much for the fans getting the presale tickets. Oh, you can get them, if you go to ticketliquidator and pay three or four times the price. Its so unfair! We were going to drive from Dallas to see it, but its not looking very good. :(
I hate scalpers!!!

Today I looked on the TICKETMONOPOLY (Ticketmaster) website and it said that the ticket price range is, and I quote: "0-$750.00". HA!! That'll be the day when ANY ticket from that organization is "0"!!, of course excluding "comp" tickets as a contest prize or something of that nature. That said, I'm going to TRY to get tickets on 2-1-13 DEPENDING on how much the "cheaper" seats are. For something like this, I'm more than happy to get a nosebleed seat and take the 6-8 hr. drive simply because this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness, regardless of how anybody feels about the Hall, pro or con. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be there! Cross my fingers and hope for the best! It looks like it's going to be a BLAST! Thanks RIAB.
