The University of Colorado Denver Advocate has an article about progressive rock. In typical fashion, their view of what prog rock is all about and who listens to it is a bit narrow. They list several prog rock bands/albums that, in their words, "don't suck". Rush's 2112 made the list of course, although they still manage to dis Geddy's voice.

Kicking off with the Ayn Rand inspired title track, 2112 found Rush making prog fans and heavy rock fans alike very happy. The end result is a sort of solo heavy falsetto gripping album that shows Neil Peart and company at their best. It's hard to deny that this is an amazing record, no matter how much you hate Geddy Lee's vocal styling.
