[SOUNDSCAN Report: RUSH, QOTSA, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, OZZFEST, CRADLE OF FILTH - Nov. 30, 2005]

Blabbermouth is reporting that R30 blew away the competition in DVD sales last week. I am not surprised.

The following are notable heavy metal/hard rock U.S. sales debuts for the week ending November 29, 2005, as reported by Nielsen SoundScan (all figures are rounded to the nearest thousand, except numbers under 1,000, which are rounded to the nearest hundred):

RUSH - "R30" DVD: 28,000
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - "Over The Years and Through The Woods" DVD: 10,000
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - "(Set This) World Ablaze" DVD: 7,000
OZZFEST - "10th Anniversary" DVD: 7,000
CRADLE OF FILTH - "Peace Through Superior Firepower" DVD: 2,000
PAPA ROACH - "Live & Murderous In Chicago" DVD: 2,000
NAILBOMB - "Live At Dynamo" DVD: 200
