UPDATE - 1/5@12:36PM: This may have been a mistake on the part of Audio Ink Radio since the MuchMoreMusic website has already posted the full episode online at this link (Canada only) and it doesn't look like Geddy shows up anywhere.

The new VH1 Classic show Metal Evolution premiered back in November and now has 6 episodes under its belt. The show is the brainchild of Rush documentary and Time Machine video director Sam Dunn and builds on the mission first put forth in his groundbreaking Metal: A Headbanger's Journey documentary - in which Geddy Lee had appeared. Episode 7 of the show premieres this weekend and will focus on the early 1990s upsurge of grunge and alternative music and subsequent demise of hair metal and glam. According to Audio Ink Radio, Geddy Lee will be making an appearance on the show to discuss Rush's respect for the Seattle scene and how they assimilated elements of grunge into their own music. Geddy has already made an appearance on the show, appearing in episode 2 to discuss the contributions of American garage rock band Blue Cheer to the origins of heavy metal. There will also be an upcoming episode focusing specifically on progressive metal which promises to make heavy mention of Rush as Sam Dunn states in this recent interview with Spinner Magazine. Geddy's brother Allan Weinrib is the production manager for the show and has been the Executive Producer and Head of Production and Development at Banger Films (Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen's film production company) since December of last year.
