Alex Lifeson has been hitting the interview circuit the past several weeks to promote the upcoming release of Envy of None's new album Stygian Wavz, due out this coming Friday, March 28th. His latest interview was this morning with Torg & Elliot In the Mornings on 96.3 WLVQ. Alex chats mostly about Envy of None, but also touches on Rush and his other projects. When asked if he ever gets sick of people asking him about Rush, he responds as follows:

.. I get it. It's okay. We toured for 40 years. There are very few bands that have had that kind of longevity. And we went out at a period where we were kind of at a peak. So I can understand all the interest or hopes for something. The world is a crazy place right now. Everything changes every day right now. And I'm so happy and satisfied with what I'm doing with EoN, and I'm working on a number of other projects, on a documentary and things like that. So I'm super active. I've come out of this short retirement into activity beyond what I ever expected. So, who knows what the future holds? But I understand it. RUSH fans dream about it. So I get it. And I don't have a problem with it. ...
