Geddy Lee announced on Instagram yesterday that he'll be auctioning off another portion of his extensive baseball collection in the upcoming 20th Annual Live Auction during MLB All-Star Week. He auctioned off the first part of his collection back in December. From the announcement (thanks RushFanForever):

Play Ball!! I'm happy to relay the news that some more selections from my baseball collection are hitting the auction market next week. I chatted more about this on MLB High Heat today. ...

... Hunt Auctions is honored to present the 20th annual Live Auction during MLB All-Star Week which will include several significant private collections. An initial offering from the Geddy Lee Collection took place in December of 2023 within a partnership auction conducted by Hunt Auctions and Christie's garnering national interest.

Hunt are pleased to present this second installment from the collection highlighted by select offerings from Geddy's stunning collection of U.S. Presidential signed baseballs some of which were thrown out for the ceremonial first pitches.

President Hoover famously stated, "Next to religion, baseball has furnished a great impact on American life more than another institution." Of particular note within the current offering are single signature examples from Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy both of which were also thrown out for the ceremonial first pitch to open their respective MLB seasons. ...

The live auction will take place this coming Tuesday July 16th at E-Sports Stadium within Capital One MLB All-Star Game Village in Arlington, TX. Geddy popped in to MLB High Heat yesterday to chat about the auction and some highlights from the collection. You can watch that interview below or at MLB.com.
