Doors guitarist Robby Krieger and the Medlock-Krieger Foundation will be hosting their Medlock-Krieger Golf, Art Show & Guitars charity event tonight and tomorrow in Los Angeles. The event will be held in memory of Scott Medlock, who passed away from cancer last year. Medlock and Krieger were longtime friends, and had hosted their annual Scott Medlock-Robby Krieger Golf Classic and All-Star Concert annually for over a decade up until Medlock's passing last year. This year's event will benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation and the Colontown/PalTown Development Foundation & Cancer Support Community. There will be a concert this evening at Bogie's Westlake Village Inn and a golf tournament tomorrow at the Moorpark Country Club. Rush's Alex Lifeson has participated in the event several times over the years, with his most recent appearance being back in 2018. Although there hasn't been any official announcement as far as participants are concerned for this year's event, according to this Instagram post from rock vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, he and Alex Lifeson will be performing at tonight's event. The post shows a photo of Alex with Soto and Krieger at rehearsals for the event. Unfortunately the event is SOLD OUT, but you can get all the details at themedlockkrieger.org. Thanks to RushFanForever for the heads up.
